100 billions liters of water saved by 2023
Around 21% of distributed water in buildings is wasted notably due to leaks. Committed to preserve water and to operate the transition to sustainable buildings, the Shayp project is using its technology, labelled by the Solar Impulse Foundation, to evaluate these water leaks in real time and ensure optimised maintenance.
With one in three buildings experiencing leaks every year, and 95% of which going unseen and unreported, the potential for water consumption reduction by tackling leaks is enormous. As an expert in water flows analysis and leak detection, Shayp collects water consumption data from all types of buildings (public institutions, schools, hospitals, private infrastructure, etc.). Based on this data, the goal of the project Shayp is to support building and maintenance managers in eliminating water leakages and water damages, and more generally to contribute to a conscious use and behaviour of water by reducing water consumption and waste.
