FU-TOURISM Open Days - Belgium Edition: Boosting sustainable and digital tourism in European regions
FU-TOURISM is a European project funded with €4 million from the Single Market Programme that promotes the greening and digitisation of SMEs in the tourism sector, contributing to the European Green Pact and the Digital Single Market. The FU-TOURISM open days aim to promote the calls of the project's Acceleration Programme, which will grant training and financial support to 60 European SMEs from Greece, Poland, Spain, Croatia, Belgium and Austria to make them more sustainable, resilient and innovative. There will be 6 Open Days, one for each country where the call will take place. In this case, we are currently registering for Belgium, but we intend to register the other 5 events, The ‘FU-TOURISM Acceleration Programme’ will select 10 SMEs from each country active or willing to become leaders in sustainable, green and digital tourism. These companies will participate in a five-month blended funding and learning programme designed to equip them with the tools and knowledge they need to thrive in the new era of tourism. SMEs that are accepted into the programme will not only receive financial support of 20,000 euros each, but will also benefit from a range of additional services, including:
