Bringing together the sustainable development sector

Humanitarian crises make great incubators for far-reaching structural change. The COVID-19 pandemic and its aftermath reinforces the need to mainstream long-term solutions for a resilient society and economy that works for all. The SDG Forum, G-STIC and CSR Europe join forces to mobilize the sustainable development sector from 26 to 30 October 2020

The SDG week promotes sustainable development practices and the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). It hosts multiple events that bring together a multitude of stakeholders to discuss a rich mix of societal themes. The goal is to connect SDG professionals from government, business, academia and civil society, to share expertise and exchange best practices and lessons learned.   

Keep an eye on the website to stay up-to-date regarding the plenary sessions, workshops and networking moments. Below you can already find a sneak peek of the events :

  • SDG Summit : Organised by CSR Europe and its partners, the virtual Summit connects +5.000 actors of change through +40 digital sessions, to engage in forward looking dialogues and to promote impactful partnerships to rebuild our societies and accelerate the implementation of the Sustainable Development Goals.
  • G-STIC conference : Organized by 8 international co-hosts, the G-STIC Conference brings togethers 2000 participants from 80 countries. During a series of online and offline events, they will discuss the concrete implementation of sustainable technologies and innovations.
  • SDG Forum : The SDG Forum brings the Sustainable Development Goals from, for and by everyone. It is the first multi-stakeholder forum on the SDGs in the Benelux which involves a wide range of sectors and touches upon a variety of themes such as SDGs and Education, SDGs and Finance,  SDGs after COVID-19, SDGs and local government, SDGs and Policy guidelines.

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, some of our partners have chosen to go fully digital. Others are looking into the possibility of physical events that are in line with the COVID-19 regulation. Be sure to check the partner’s website for the necessary practical information.
